Dr Richard Sykes is chair of the outsourcing and offshoring group at the British hi-tech trade association Intellect. He is formerly the chairman of outsourcing advisory group Morgan Chambers and CIO of the well-known chemicals company ICI. He presently runs a private advisory and board-level coaching practice also called ‘Dr Richard Sykes’. In this interview Richard talks about the globalisation of services and innovation in IT services.
